【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationisintendedtoprovideacharacterizationofthedesignandmechanicalfunctionofintramedullaryfixationdevices(IMFDs)specifylabelingandmaterialrequirements,providetestmethodsforcharacterizationofIMFDmechanicalpropertiesandidentifyneedsforfurtherdevelopmentoftestmethodsandperformancecriteria.Theultimategoalistodevelopastandardwhichdefinesperformancecriteriaandmethodsformeasurementofperformance-relatedmechanicalcharacteristicsofIMFDsandtheirfixationtobone.Itisnottheintentionofthisspecificationtodefinelevelsofperformanceorcase-specificclinicalperformanceofthesedevices,asinsufficientknowledgeisavailabletopredicttheconsequencesoftheuseofanyofthesedevicesinindividualpatientsforspecificactivitiesofdailyliving.ItisnottheintentionofthisspecificationtodescribeorspecifyspecificdesignsforIMFDs.1.2ThisspecificationdescribesIMFDsforsurgicalfixationoftheskeletalsystem.ItprovidesbasicIFMDgeometricaldefinitions,dimensions,classification,andterminology;labelingandmaterialspecifications;performancedefinitions;testmethodsandcharacteristicsdeterminedtobeimportanttoin-vivoperformanceofthedevice.1.3Thisspecificationincludesfourstandardtestmethods:1.3.1StaticFour-PointBendTestMethod-and1.3.2StaticTorsionTestMethod-.1.3.3BendingFatigueTestMethod-AnnexA1.1.3.4TestMethodforBendingFatigueofIMFDLockingScrews-AnnexA2.1.4ArationaleisgiveninAppendixX1.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
