适用范围
本标准修改采用ISO 9694-1996《牙科磷酸盐铸造包埋材料》。
本标准根据用途将牙科磷酸盐铸造包埋材料分为两型，本标准规定了包埋材料主要的物理性能要求及试验方法。本标准也对附于包装上的说明进行了规定。
本标准与ISO 9694-1996的主要区别如下：
——删除“2 规范性引用文件”一章，章号做相应改动。并在本标准中以“蒸馏水或去离子水”替代ISO 3696：1987《分析实验室用水—规范和试验方法》对水的规定。
——本标准对第6章进行了修改，改为“6 试验方法及检验规则”，增加了“6.5 检验规则逐批检验的项目、周期检验的项目和周期由生产厂根据质量管理体系规定。”
——本标准对6.4.1.2进行了修改。原标准中“试样长（50±0.2）mm”保留，增加“或试样长度应符合使用线热膨胀仪测量精度范围”。
——“9 标志”中增加了“9.4 中文标识 中文标识应符合国家法律法规的规定。”
